'After ten years together Alex proposed to me with the help of our pet lovebird Charlie Mango in October 2021.
My best friend actually suggested the gardens & once we visited we didn’t look anywhere else. Down south holds so many memories for us so it was just the perfect place! We booked everything two years prior as we were very adamant on our vendors & wanted to ensure they were all available - like the venue we didn’t enquire with anyone other than who we had on the day.
When looking for dresses I knew I wanted a mikado silk style dress. I was after a drop waist and a dress that was classic, yet unique and hadn’t been seen before. A huge thankyou to Lauren who made my experience at Dion amazing. I’m quite particular and she was so patient and accommodating, she is absolutely gorgeous!!
The day itself was so chill, we had the best vibes all day and everything just ran perfectly!! Despite 0% chance of rain on the day it ended up sprinkling whilst everyone was sitting down for dinner - it was absolutely magical! Everyone had napkins on their heads which was absolutely hilarious, this is actually one of my favourite memories of the day.
We had the most incredible vendors involved & our day would not have been possible without them, we chose the absolute best!!!
